Kendall the Cupcake
(The Coe family's Meal Train can be found here)
In a world full of muffins, be a cupcake... like Kendall 🧁
We always push a cart of goodies around the hospital for the kids—House of Hutch blankets, tee shirts, and teddy bears wearing Lions gear—like the one Kendall is holding in the photo below. After meeting Kendall and giving her a new teddy bear, we spotted her waddling down the hallway pushing the bear in her mini plastic shopping cart. Our hearts basically exploded.
Kendall's Story:
2-year-old Kendall was diagnosed with a myoepithelial carcinoma in April, 2024. She’s gone through four rounds of chemo and two surgeries to remove the tumor on her arm.
On 9/11/2024, the day before her second birthday, we got her first set of clean scans back showing no evidence of disease was present. She is not considered to be in remission yet and will be on an oral therapy for the next 12 months, but the clean scans were a huge step in the right direction. She’s doing very well right now!
Kendall is known for her smile and always being happy, she never let treatments get her spirits down. She’s very strong-willed and independent, and loves to boss her older brother Carter around. She’s obsessed with baby dolls, Minnie Mouse, and whatever toy Carter is using.
Please keep the Coe family in your prayers and kindly consider donating to their Meal Train.
Thank you all for your support and have a beautiful week!
Love always,
