Our Heroes

Meet 8-year-old Taure, the spitfire of the family and our very first hero of the 2025-26 football season! She is powerful, beautiful, brilliant, and brave. Taure was diagnosed with Idiopathic Aplastic Anemia.

Meet our wonderful hero, Vito, an incredible 7-year-old boy who was born with Goldenhar syndrome. Goldenhar syndrome is a rare craniofacial condition present at birth, characterized by abnormal development of the eye, ear, mandible and spine.

Meet our very special hero, Hutch the rescue dog. In October 2023, he was found dumped on the side of the road inside a box in Detroit with his 4 other siblings at only 8 weeks old.

Meet our newest hero, Kayden. 18-year-old Kayden Strong was born on Valentine’s Day, diagnosed with hypoplastic right heart syndrome (HRHS) and placed on donor list at one day old.
