Meet Felix
Merry Grit-mas! It's a Lions Christmas game day and we are so excited to share a very special hero with you all today. Meet Felix! 4-year-old Felix was diagnosed with high-risk metastatic neuroblastoma on April 17, 2025.

We were so glad to meet Felix and his lovely parents right before Christmas at the hospital while we were handing out gifts! Felix is the sweetest boy surrounded by such an amazing group of loved ones.
Aidan carried Felix's mantra into the Lions vs Vikings game with him:
"The strongest and the bravest.”

Felix's Story:
Felix has completed 5 cycles of induction chemotherapy (4 with immunotherapy), surgical resection, and two autologous bone marrow transplants. He has radiation and cycles of immunotherapy left to finish the COG protocol. His initial curie score was 24 (out of 30) and after initial chemotherapy and surgery it was at 0!

Thankfully, we live in Ann Arbor and Felix’s grandparents moved in with us from Grand Haven to help with appointments, school for his sister, Claire, etc. Our village has been incredible. The doctors, the nurses, and everyone else at Mott has been incredible too!

Felix is giggly, cuddly, mischievous, whip-smart, and hilarious. Cars, monster trucks, trains, etc. fill our home along with a lot more running around. The playroom on 7 East is his favorite part of the hospital. He is ready to try any sport. He loves big. He lets you know his opinion. He has a sweet tooth. He talks with his hands. And we love him more than he’ll ever know.

Felix is so strong and brave... some might say the strongest and the bravest. We are so proud to know Felix and call him our HERO.
Love Always,
Team Hutch
