Meet Taure
Meet Taurean, or Taure (TOH-ree) for short. Our powerful, beautiful, brilliant, and brave hero. She is our very first hero of the 2025-26 Detroit Lions football season! Aidan wrote her mantra on his water jug and carried it into the game with him.
Week 1 was dedicated to Taure.
Taure is a very special soul and has touched our lives in the short time we've known her. The instant we walked into the room the first time we met her, she was like a burst of bright sunlight. Nonstop chatter, enthusiasm, and pure exuberance for LIFE. Honestly, we could've spent all day hanging out with her.
Taure's Story:
Taure is 8 years old, the youngest of three (older sister and brother), and is the spitfire of her family. She is happy, charismatic, loving, and strong. She has a loud & proud love for Stitch and Aidan Hutchinson; she also adores Barbies and princesses.
Taurean's health journey began when she was just four years old. She began showing signs of an "unknown blood disorder" in March of 2022.
In February of 2024 Taure was officially diagnosed with Idiopathic Aplastic Anemia (IAA). One year later, on February 18th 2025, she had a bone marrow transplant at the age of 7.
Today, Taure is six months post transplant and is doing phenomenal. She is ready to go back to school where her friends are!

Her happiness and spirit have not wavered and that is what we call UNBROKEN.
