Meet sweet 14-year-old Ava and her amazing family, Team Ava—the kindest bunch. In May of 2019 at 9 years old, Ava was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT). And then in April 2023 at 13 years old Ava was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma.

James Phillips is a boy who exemplifies the greatest courage in the face of hardship. He was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Osteosarcoma at the age of 12.

Spider-Man’s biggest fan, Micheal the Marvel-ous, is the sweetest boy around. Aidan loved meeting Micheal & dedicated week 14 to him. The mini Lions helmet Aidan gave Micheal was a perfect fit for the plush Spider-Man he had on his hospital bed. A note about Micheal: 10-year-old Micheal was diagnosed on August 15, 2019 with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, also called ALL. He loves to go camping, play outside, and of course loves Spider-Man. Aidan met Owen at Mott Children's Hospital this summer shortly after Owen was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. Aidan learned that just days before Owen’s diagnosis he helped a girl on the school bus who was having an asthma attack and saved her life… talk about HERO 🥹 A note about Owen: 16-year-old Owen was diagnosed with AML Leukemia on June 5, 2023.
